Health Care Facilities. Hospital stocks soar after senate releases its health care plan. Shares of major, publicly-traded hospitals climbed following the Thursday release of the US Senate's version of the Obamacare repeal bill. Tenet Healthcare (THC $14-$19-$32) was one of the biggest gainers, with a 7% jump after the release. One major catalyst for the jump is the $50 billion written into the plan which is designed to stabilize the healthcare insurance exchanges. Of course, the bill still must be voted on and approved by the senate, and then reconciled with the US House of Representatives' plan.
